Sometimes coloring time can get a little out of hand, and that pair of blue jeans can take on a few additional hues. If you want to remove the rainbow, Stapf recommends applying mayonnaise to the stain and letting it set in for a few minutes. The oils in the condiment will break down the wax in the crayon. Then rinse off with a damp rag and scrub in small circles.
If mayo doesn’t work, try melting the stain with a hairdryer and scouring with a cloth and dish soap to remove the stain.
