It’s a pretty neat time to be an SFF fan with a TV: Apple has an adaptation of Isaac Asimov’s Foundation; Hulu’s got a take on graphic novel series Y: The Last Man; and Leigh Bardugo’s Shadow and Bone books are a series on Netflix, as is The Witcher. The list goes on and on—there’s a ton of Star Wars, Star Trek, and Marvel, with a whole lot more on the way. It wasn’t so long ago when a person with a reasonable amount of free time and a limited interest in socializing could watch just about every science fiction and/or fantasy show—but now you’d pretty much have to make it a career.

Nevertheless, here are the big shows with a high likelihood of coming down your streaming hole between now and the end of 2022.
