"BJP Offered Me Deal To Pull Out Of Gujarat": Arvind Kejriwal To NDTV
Ahmedabad:

Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal on Saturday claimed the BJP has "offered to spare ministers Manish Sisodia, Satyendar Jain" who are embroiled in investigations, if the Aam Aadmi Party pulled out of the Gujarat elections.

"By organising MCD elections in Delhi simultaneously, it does not show that Kejriwal is cornered. It shows that the BJP is scared. If they were confident of a win in both places, they would not have insisted for such a thing. The fact is that BJP is scared that they will lose both in Gujarat and in Delhi MCD polls, so they have ensured that both elections happen at the same time," Mr Kejriwal said at an NDTV Townhall.

"After Manish Sisodia rejected their offer to be Delhi Chief Minister by leaving AAP, they have approached me now... they have said if you leave Gujarat and don't contest there, we will spare both Satyendar Jain and Sisodia and drop all charges against them."

Asked who made the offer, Mr Kejriwal said, How can I name one of my own... the offer has come through them... see they (BJP) never approach directly. They go from one to another to another to another to a friend, and then the message reaches you."
