Although Black Friday isn’t the be-all-end-all shopping day it once was, for some people, hitting the stores at the stroke of midnight, after downing a plate of Thanksgiving leftovers, has become a tradition.
And as much as we’ve gotten accustomed to buying everything online, this year’s delivery delays and supply chain disruptions give in-person shopping the advantage of ensuring you’ll be getting what you need right away. (But please keep in mind that we’re still very much in a pandemic, so if you’re going that route, take all necessary precautions.)
If you happen to find yourself getting hungry while hitting the sales, there are plenty of Black Friday food deals and freebies to keep you going. Here are a few of the most tempting offers.
Baskin Robins Black Friday deals
Starting at 1 p.m. EST on Friday, Nov. 26, the first 1,000 people to place an order on the Baskin Robbins website using the code SNOWMAN will get a free six-inch Brrr the Snowman ice cream cake. Hardee’s Black Friday deals
If you’re out and about during breakfast hours, you can take advantage of a BOGO deal on a Hardee’s bacon, egg, and cheese biscuit. Go head, eat both. No one is judging.
Krispy Kreme Black Friday deals
Get a free glazed doughnut and small coffee on Friday, Nov. 26 with no purchase required.
McDonald’s Black Friday deals
McDonald’s is advertising “Black Friday Week” on its website, boasting of “7 super delicious BLACK FRIDAY DEALS waiting for you on our app!” None of these deals are prominently labeled as such in the app when logging in in NYC (though there are a host of the typical deals to choose from, from free fries to a free drink and fries with the purchase of a chicken sandwich), but you may have better luck where you are.
Wendy’s Black Friday deals
Purchase any size fries and get 150 bonus Rewards points in the Wendy’s app all weekend long. Of course, you’ll need to be a member of their rewards program to take advantage of this offer—but 150 points is enough to get you a free four-piece order of chicken nuggets, a small Frosty, or small hot coffee. It’s something.
White Castle Black Friday deals
All coffees are 99 cents on Black Friday, so you can make some poor purchasing decisions and blame being all hopped up on caffeine.
