Dave’s Hot Chicken started as a single popup in a Los Angeles parking lot in 2017. Today, it’s in 20 states and Washington D.C., and it’s on track to be the fastest-growing chain after opening its 100th location in Brooklyn, NY, with 14 more to open in Queens and Long Island over the next five years. In celebration of their 6th anniversary, they’re giving away their staple chicken sandwich “slider” for free when you download their app.
Their “single slider” originates in Nashville, Tennessee, and comes with a fried chicken tender on a potato bun with kale slaw, pickles, and Dave’s sauce. They go for $7.49 in New York City, but prices vary by location. You can choose the spice level, ranging from no spice, to “lite mild,” to “reaper,” which comes with a disclaimer.

To get their free chicken sandwich “slider,” download their app, sign up to be a rewards member, and redeem the deal in-store or online using the app—but you must be logged into your account and use the rewards app regardless of where you decide to order from. If claiming on the app or on the website, apply the offer at check-out.
You have until May 2 to download and claim the deal, but you have until May 7 to redeem the free sandwich. It comes with the standard “only participating locations” disclaimer, so call ahead if you’re going in person.
