Starting today, Wendy’s is offering you free fries until Sunday, Feb. 19 at an undisclosed time (probably midnight) if you make a purchase via their app. Here are the cheapest and best options you can choose from the menu so you can get a good deal all week long.
How to get free Wendy’s French fries for a week
Starting today, when you log in to your account on the Wendy’s app, you’ll see a “free fries w/mobile order” banner. Click “get offer” and then select the “free any size fry w/ mobile order purchase” offer. Then you’ll want to select “use in mobile order,” which puts the order in your bag and takes you directly to their menu. Once there, select your local Wendy’s and start your order.

You need to pair the fries with any other item. Here are the cheapest, yet best items to choose, as we’ve pointed out before:
The cheapest item you can get is the Honest Kids Fruit Punch ($0.99), but for a bit more you can get, arguable, better things; Apple Bites ($1.29), Chocolate Chunk Cookie ($1.59), Jr. Classic Chocolate Frosty ($1.79), Four-Piece Chicken Nuggets ($1.99), or Natural-Cut Fries ($2.49).

The fine print
Not all Wendy’s are participating. If your local Wendy’s pops up as an option for you to select on the app after clicking the offer, and you get to the check-out section and the fries are free on your order, you know that Wendy’s location is participating in the deal. The offer is one per customer per visit, but you can visit as many times as you want. The offer is only available through the mobile app, and it doesn’t apply to the fancier Topped Fries or the Breakfast Potatoes. You also can’t combine this deal with other offers.
