It’s been a few years since Beyond Meat introduced their line of plant-based meat substitutes, but if you have yet to sample their wares, a chance to do so for free is nigh: the company has launched a month-long giveaway, pledging to hand out 100,000 free Beyond Burgers. Here’s what you need to know.
How to get free burgers from Beyond Meat
Starting today, vegan lifestyle site The Beet reports, Beyond Meat is giving away 50,000 packs (each containing two patties) of their newly reformulated Beyond Burger, to give people a chance to taste (or try) the latest iteration of their hit protein. The offer will be available every Friday in June (and today today) via this coupon in the Ibotta app.
Just have the coupon handy during your pre-BBQ Friday grocery shopping trip, and can grab a free pack of Beyond Burgers, no other purchase required. Do keep in mind, though, that this is one of those “while supplies last” situations—so you may want to hit the supermarket as early as possible on Fridays. A rep from the company told Thrillist that a total of 50,000 free burger packs will be distributed throughout the summer, with a certain amount available each week.
For those following along, this is the third version of the Beyond Burger. Each patty—marketed as being juicier and “meatier” than its predecessors—has 20g of protein, “more nutrients” and no cholesterol. In addition to the burger, Beyond Meat also makes plant-based meatballs, breakfast sausage (classic and spicy) and ground beef.
