If you’ve always dreamed of being a gymnast, or if you rank gymnastics at the top of the list of your favorite Olympic sports, good news: Champion gymnast and four-time Olympic gold medalist Simone Biles is doing a free, live-streaming lesson and Q&A session tonight (June 24) on MasterClass Live.
The platform also hosts a 17-lesson fundamentals course with instruction from Biles for each gymnastics event (a subscription is required for those).
Biles won gold at the 2016 Olympics in Rio de Janeiro in the all-around, vault, and floor competitions as well as in the overall team competition as a member of the “Final Five.” She also picked up a bronze medal for her performance on the balance beam, and she’s a five-time World all-around champion.
The free live stream starts at 8 p.m. ET on Wednesday, June 24 on the MasterClass Live page. You can submit questions for Biles in advance via this Google Form or follow along with the conversation on Twitter using the hashtag #MasterClassLive.
If you want more in-depth gymnastics lessons with Biles, join her MasterClass fundamentals course, which covers basic and advanced skills and techniques for each event (floor, bars, vault, beam) as well as goal-setting, competition mindset and working with coaches.
The live stream on June 24 is free, but you’ll need a MasterClass subscription to access the full course—membership starts at $15 per month. If you do end up joining, you’ll find plenty more sports courses to choose from. You can hone your tennis skills with pro instruction from Serena Williams, learn to skateboard with Tony Hawk or practice shooting drills and ball handling with basketball star Stephen Curry.
