Every year on March 14, people all over the country celebrate Pi (π) Day, less because we’re really into the ratio of a circle’s circumference to its diameter, and more because it’s an excuse to eat our favorite round things: pies and pizzas.
According to Scientific American, Pi Day is a celebration unique to the U.S. and Belize, as we’re the only nations to use the “mm/dd/yyyy” format required to make March 14 resemble the 3.14 ratio when written out. What I’m saying is, we’re the lucky ones, because it means we can score some delicious deals for pizza makers using the unofficial holiday as a marketing gimmick.
7-Eleven
The convenience store will be offering their reward members any whole pizza for $3.14. The deal will only available at participating 7-Eleven, Speedway and Stripes locations on Tuesday, March 14, though you can also enjoy the deal a day earlier via the 7NOW delivery app. You can choose a cheese, pepperoni or Extreme Meat pizza, which comes with sausage, beef crumbles, crispy pepperoni, smoky bacon, Canadian bacon, and diced ham. If you prefer an A.M. slice mornings, you can also choose their breakfast pizza.
You must be either a 7Rewards or Speedy Rewards member to receive the coupon, and you can order up to two pies. Delivery fees apply.
Blaze Pizza
Blaze Pizza is rewarding their members with a coupon for an 11-inch pizza for $3.14, according to their website. To get it, you’ll need to download the Blaze Pizza app and set your favorite Blaze Pizza location. The parameters of the deal vary by location (some only offering it after 3:14 p.m. for example), so make sure to call or verify before going in person. There is a one offer limit per customer, and only on March 14.
Schlotzsky’s
Schlotzsky’s reward members will get a BOGO Pizza free deal on March 14, according to their website. The deal is only good at participating locations and is single use.
Sbarro
If you join Sbarro’s rewards program, you’ll receive a free New York XL slice with the purchase of a beverage. Not all Sbarro locations have participating reward programs, so make sure to check this list first.
Cicis Pizza
Cici’s Pizza will give you a choice of $3.14 off their adult buffet and a kid’s combo for $3.14, or you can get $3.14 off a large one-topping pizza when you order online for pickup or delivery by using code “PIDAY.” These deals are available only on March 14, one use per person.
