WB Television
We sort of live in a weird time when it comes to entertainment. With streaming services dropping entire seasons of a highly anticipated show on a Friday, to movies hitting foreign markets before North America, to everyone having a social media handle and an opinion, there are no set rules when it comes to spoilers. I mean, how long do you have to wait before talking about it?
This is a murky area. As a regular person, if we post something online or mention it to a friend, there’s no huge damage right? But what about movie critics, journalists and even the studios themselves? What are their rules? Is there a standard spoiler etiquette that we should all be following? Maybe.
There’s a survey that’s been conducted by Music Magpie in the UK, that asked 2,000 people how long is appropriate to wait, before spilling the beans.
