Adidas is currently having a big sale of over 7,500 items that will go until Feb. 21, and you can combine it with gift card deals and a limited-time discount code. We tried it, and if everything works out the same as it did for us, you can shop with some steep discounts—including already discounted items.
Use the discount code “score”
First, you’ll want to shop for the items on sale that are eligible for coupons, then use the promo code “SCORE” at checkout to get an extra 30% to 65% off. But the third trick is to buy a discounted gift card as well: Right now, Adidas is selling $100 gift cards with a $20 bonus (you could also get a $50 gift card from NewEgg with a $15 bonus gift). Then just use the gift cards to pay at checkout.
Of course, there are limitations to just how much you can exploit the sales. The $100 gift cards with the $20 bonus deal is only available to buy through Feb. 21. And once you buy the gift card, the $20 will automatically load into your account, but you must use it within 90 days of buying it. The big sale limits you to use two gift cards per order (but you could place multiple orders, if you wanted). The gift cards are available as electronic or physical.
Also, several items aren’t eligible for the “score” discount code: 4D, Ivy Park x adidas, Select Ultraboost, Pharrell x adidas, Disney, Human Made, limited edition Originals, Select NMD, Select Stan Smith, Select Superstar, and Select adizero. You also can’t buy gift cards using the promo code. But still, if you were planning to do some sportswear shopping for the spring, it’s a great time to take advantage of Adidas’ sale.
