A month into the marriage of streaming services Paramount+ and Showtime, the bond is proving beneficial—for Paramount+, anyway.
Without the August premieres of two long-running Showtime series, Billions (returning for its seventh and final season Aug. 11) and The Chi (debuting season six on Aug. 4), Paramount+ With Showtime’s slate would be looking pretty weak (though there are still a few more episodes of Star Trek: Strange New Worlds dropping through Aug. 10).
The only Paramount+ title of note is the new romantic comedy Love In Taipei (Aug. 10), based on the bestselling YA novel Loveboat, Taipei by Abigail Hing Wen.
Here’s everything coming to the streamer in August. Note that titles with an asterisk are exclusive to Paramount+ With Showtime; everything else is also available to subscribers on the ad-supported plan.
