You would’ve been lucky if you found three-day general admission tickets to the F1 Grand Prix for less than $600 earlier this May. Some tickets went for over $800 on the secondary market. But Costco is selling three-day general admission ground passes for $349.99, down from $640 from the official website.
You can get cheaper F1 Grand Prix from Costco
You can get one 3-Day Grounds Pass for the Formula 1 Lenovo U.S. Grand Prix at Circuit of The Americas in Austin, Texas, on October 20-22, 2023. Costco will sell you up to five passes per member, and you’ll get a wristband at the Grand Plaza Box Office pick-up. You’ll also get an eVoucher that can only be redeemed through a link in an email from letsgo@fevo.com. The deal will run “while supplies last,” so they might move fast.
Take some of these with you to the race:
You can see a seat map on this PDF of where you’ll have free-roam access (green areas are ground pass access), and hopefully you can find a comfortable spot around the circuit that gives you a good angle. The website says that the elevations at Circuit of the Americas “all offer good views on the action,” and there should be enough space to stretch out on the grass and have a not-so-quiet picnic following the race. Just keep in mind that there won’t be any good areas for shade, so make sure to bring a good hat, sunblock, plenty of water, and whatever else you like to bring when you might be baking in the sun.
