Although plenty of us chug coffee everyday like our lives depended on it, hot chocolate isn’t as likely to be part of our daily beverage routine. And while it’s not reserved exclusively for special occasions, treating yourself to a glass of liquid dessert—sometimes, while eating a solid dessert—is a particularly pleasant way to spend a chilly winter evening.

What the job entails
The hot chocolate tester role is with Wishlisted, and it’s a pretty sweet deal. The winner will receive a variety of the most popular hot chocolate mixes—each of which they are required to taste test and then review. Unfortunately, the company doesn’t provide other details on the specifics of the job (i.e. how many hot chocolates the winner will test, how long they’ll have to complete the task, etc), so that’s all we know about the position itself.
But we can tell you about the prizes. In addition to all the hot chocolate samples, upon completing the tests and reviews, the winner will also receive $1,000 cash, $125 to cover one year of Netflix basic services, a blanket (retail value: $25), and an assortment of hot chocolate supplies (retail value: $150).

How to apply
In order to apply, you must be at least 18 years old and a U.S. resident who is able to receive deliveries of multiple packages from UPS, FedEx, etc—and has a functional sense of taste (sorry to people who lost theirs from COVID).
